Mystery Diner Ghana

When I first moved to Ghana, I was completely frustrated with the quality of service and sometimes food I was served at various food establishments around Accra. I was used to a certain standard of service and attention to detail, so it was quite disappointing going to restaurants and bars and feeling like I was not valued as a customer.

As a service professional in the hospitality industry but more importantly, as a Ghanaian, it irked me that we were settling for such mediocre service. I would complain to my friends and they would say things like..."Don't bother...they're not going to change...this is as good as it gets...its the norm" Howwwwwww were they settling for this?? These are people who lived abroad and knew that they should be demanding better. They understood the value of the customer and good customer service. Why were they so unconcerned?

This is the exact reason I decided to start Mystery Diner Ghana. This is a platform for ordinary people like myself to offer simple reviews on restaurants/bars etc. The best part is it is all post anonymously.

Make it fun for yourself...go to a restaurant with a group of friends and do it together. Everyone can do it on their phone in real time or once they get home!
It's so easy. 

Customer feedback is important. These establishments will not get better if we don't demand better. 
On the flip side - I think it's also important when we get great service and food! We should let other people know! Good or Bad review...we will post them all. You don't need to be a food blogger to be able to give feedback!
